Some of the cases in which Gregory Armorer has acted are as follows -

H.C.A. No. S-540 of 1990 - The Application by the Jamaat al Muslimeen in which Mr. Gregory Armorer was junior counsel to Mr. Ramesh Lawrence Maharaj (now SC) on behalf of the Jamaat al Muslimeen. That was the judicial review High Court matter that was in progress when the Jamaat al Muslimeen staged the 1990 attempted coup in Trinidad and Tobago.

H.C.A. No. 3015 of 1987 -The Application of Bernadette Hood-Caesar in which Mr. Gregory Armorer was junior counsel to Mr. Nolan Bereaux (now Justice of Appeal Bereaux) representing the State and resisting the High Court application brought by Ms. Bernadette Hood-Caesar who was alleging that her constitutional rights were violated when the then recently elected NAR government in Trinidad and Tobago reduced the salaries of civil servants by 10% and withheld the cost-of-living allowances of civil servants.

Civil Appeal No. 108 of 2000 - Rajesh Ramsarran v. The Attorney General of Trinidad and Tobago - in which Mr. Gregory Armorer successfully represented Mr. Rajesh Ramsarran who was able to establish that he had a constitutional right to be informed of his right to communicate with an attorney-at-law and to communicate with an attorney-at-law on each occasion when he was arrested. The State was contending that Mr. Rajesh Ramsaran did not have those constitutional rights when he was being arrested on a second occasion.

Crane v. Rees and Others - in which Mr. Gregory Armorer was junior counsel to Mr. Stanley Marcus SC in the assessment of damages for High Court Judge, Mr. Justice Richard Crane after the Judicial and Legal Service Commission improperly and illegally took action against Mr. Justice Richard Crane.

Milne and Others v. Crane - in which Mr. Gregory Armorer resisted attempts by lawyers who formerly represented Mr. Justice Richard Crane to recover money as legal fees from the widow of Mr. Justice Richard Crane.

2000 Commission of Inquiry into the Administration of Justice - Mr. Gregory Armorer was one of the counsel to the 2000 Commission of Inquiry into the Administration of Justice.

Mr. Gregory Armorer has also been the Secretary of the Law Association of Trinidad and Tobago and the Treasurer of the Law Association of Trinidad and Tobago.

Mr. Gregory Armorer is the 1980 Island Scholarship winner (1st place) in the Mathematics Group having attended St. Mary’s College, Port of Spain Trinidad after which he attended Corpus Christi College, Cambridge University, England where he studied law. Mr. Gregory Armorer is a member of Gray’s Inn, London, England.
